Water Water Everywhere

Water. We know we should be drinking plenty of it, but most of us don’t. Water is good for your body, digestion, hair, nails, brain function, but how do you get in your daily doses. I have four fun tips today to help you drink all of the water you should.

1.      The milk jug. This may look silly at first but this is a great way to gauge what you are drinking throughout the day. Take a milk jug and make lines designating how much you want to drink by certain times. This is a great visual to assist you in staying hydrated.

2.     Buy a water bottle that tracks intake. There are many versions available. Most can be found in local stores or on amazon. These bottles keep track of your water intake and let you know how you are progressing through the day.

3.     Try an app like Fitbit or MyFitnessPal. Both of these, and many others  will allow you to track your water intake.

4.      Water first. Drink a glass of water before you get out of bed. Drink one before you leave for work. Drink one before a mid-morning break. Drink one before lunch. Drink one for a mid-afternoon pick me up. Drink one before you leave work. Drink one before dinner. Drink one before you go to bed. Drink water!
